300,000 school assistants

The Department of Basic Education (DBE) is looking for 300,000 school assistants to be placed in nearly 26,000 schools across South Africa. They will earn a monthly stipend of R3500 (less 1% UIF contribution) on a contract from 01 Dec to 31 March 2021

The Gauteng Department of Education is mandated to provide compulsory basic education to all learners in the province progressively.

• 18 -35 years old
• Applicants with post school qualifications will be prioritised for all positions
