Job purpose

The purpose of this is to offer practical training (P1 & P2) to learners in mining related study fields as per the tertiary institution’s syllabus requirements.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • A personal motivation for self-improvement together with a positive attitude and commitment towards learning is critical for success in these developmental roles.
  • Apply health, safety and good housekeeping standards and report any unsafe behaviour, conditions and incidents to the responsible person.
  • Conduct risk assessment before all tasks and identify risks and hazards and report accordingly.
  • Keep all equipment clean and in a good condition all the time.
  • Successful completion of theoretical and practical learning.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Serious contenders will be in their final year of study at a recognized institution requiring practical learning to acquire their formal qualification (I.e. P1 & P2).
  • Students must be studying at a recognized South African Higher institution.
  • Must be a South African citizen.

ATTACH THE FOLLOWING SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION:

  • Curriculum Vitae.
  • Valid South African ID – certified.
  • Academic record – stamped by institution.
  • Official Letter from the higher education institution attended requesting the need for P1 P2.
  • Proof of residence.
