As a learner programmer, you’ll have the unique opportunity to be part of our in-house system development department, collaborating with various teams across aspects like finance, legal, retail, and silo services.
Purpose
As a key member of NWK’s operational system development team, your primary focus will be on mastering the intricacies of programming within our dynamic environment.
Over the course of one year, you’ll undergo comprehensive on-the-job training, including but not limited to:
- Creating and developing a graphical interface in collaboration with PHP or natural programmers for the NWK operating system (no prior knowledge required).
- Developing PHP programs within NWK’s existing framework.
- Crafting web-based programs.
- Testing and fine-tuning developed systems.
- Implementing systems and providing hands-on training to end-users

Minimum requirements
- To qualify for this exciting opportunity, we’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Preferred subjects include Mathematics, Accountancy, and Computer Studies.
- Minimum of 60% in Grade 12 Mathematics.
