The duration of learning opportunities is 12 months (1 Year) as mentioned above. Please note that this learning opportunities programme is not a permanent offer of employment, but an opportunity to acquire skills development initiatives ni order to enter into labour market or become self-employed.

Objectives
Makhado Municipality in partnership with LGSETA is offering skills development initiatives aimed at preparing unemployed youth for employment by providing an opportunity to acquire learnership programmes. Applications are invited from currently unemployed youth residing within Makhado Municipal area seeking for learnership opportunities.
Minimum requirements
- Grade 10
- Applicants must be between 18 – 35 years old
- Applicants should not have previously participated in any Learnership programme.
- South African citizens who are permanent residents within Makhado Municipality area may apply.

How to apply
Applicants must specify the position applied for, accompanied by comprehensive curriculum vitae, and certified copies of highest original qualification and ID copy document (Smart IDs to be copied on both sides). clear criminal record and Proof of Residence. The certifying stamp must not be older than 6 months.
Note: Appointment is subject to security clearance, verification of qualifications, and signing of a learnership agreement /contract. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interview. If no response received from Makhado Municipality within 54 days after the closing date; ti must be regarded that your application has been unsuccessful.
