About the Sasol Millwright Learnership
The Sasol Learner Artisan Millwright Learnership 2026 is a structured apprenticeship programme aligned with QCTO, SETA, and the National Artisan Moderation Board (NAMB). Learners receive hands-on training while working in real plant and mining environments.
This learnership combines:
- Practical workplace training
- Technical classroom learning
- Ongoing mentorship and assessments
Successful learners may qualify as certified Millwright Artisans upon completion.

- Secunda, Mpumalanga
Key Duties and Training Areas
Learners will be trained in:
- Plant and equipment maintenance
- Mechanical and electrical fault-finding
- Reading and using maintenance documentation
- Safety management systems (IMS, risk assessments)
- Emergency procedures and hazard identification
- Housekeeping and waste management
- Participating in toolbox talks, RCAs, and PDAs
- Teamwork and workflow planning
Skills and Competencies Required
- Strong willingness to learn

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Sasol Learnership 2026, applicants must have:
- Matric or N3 qualification
- Passed Mathematics, Physical Science, and English
- 0–1 year relevant experience (experience is an advantage)
