Duties and Responsibilities

• Control and monitor the field operations of the plant and tank farm.
• Record plant conditions and report any abnormalities or faulty equipment.
• Analyze plant and product samples; assist in chemical and product batch preparations.
• Prepare work clearance permits and monitor contractors.
• Inspect and fill road tankers or ISO-tanks.
• Maintain good relationships with Evonik Peroxide Africa personnel.
• Act as a Panel Operator when required.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety protocols are followed.
• Compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Responsible Care standards.

Skills and Competencies 

• Good verbal, written, and listening English communication skills.
• Motivated, confident, and team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, accountable, and proactive.
• Prepared to work shifts (day/night) or standby as per the roster.
• Clear criminal record.
• Own transport required.

Minimum requirements 

• Education: Grade 12 (Standard 10) with a minimum of 40% in English and Mathematics.
