Volkswagen Group South Africa (VW Group SA) is inviting applications from TVET College students to participate in its TVET Learnership / Experiential Trainee Programme 2026 based in Kariega (Uitenhage) and Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).

This programme offers N6 students the opportunity to gain practical workplace experience required to complete their logbook and obtain a National N Diploma. About the TVET Experiential Learnership Programme

The TVET Experiential Learnership Programme is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical workplace experience. Successful candidates will be placed in suitable departments aligned to their qualifications to complete the experiential component of their studies.

Programme Duration

  • Duration: 18 months
  • Start Date: 01 March 2026
  • End Date: 31 August 2027

The programme provides on-the-job training within the Learning Academy – Human Resources (Kariega), giving trainees real exposure to a professional work environment.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Must have completed N6 within the past 3 years
  • Must have official N6 results
  • Must still require practical experience to obtain a National N Diploma
  • Must be studying or have studied N6 in one of the following fields:

Eligible Fields of Study (N6)

  • Business Management
  • Management Assistant
  • Financial Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • Office Management

Added Advantage

  • A valid driver’s license (Code 08) will be an added advantage, but is not mandatory.

  • Certified copy of South African ID
  • Certified copy of N6 Certificate
  • Certified copy of N6 Academic Transcript
