Barberton Mines aims to provide recently Winding Engine Driver students with an opportunity to gain exposure to the work environment for a limited duration contract period of 6 months as a Learner Winding Engine Driver.

Barberton Mines Winding Engine Driver Learnership Programme is a unique opportunity to gain necessary skills in the mining industry and also gain exposure to field of expertise as well as acquire critical business competencies.

Specification LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME: WINDING ENGINE DRIVER

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric with pure Mathematics and Physical Sciences
• Onsetter Certificate of Competency
• Good communication skills.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Onsetter
• Basic computer literacy will be advantageous.
• Medically fit
