About the Production Learnership Role
As a Production Learner, you will report directly to the Production Foreman and work in a production environment where tyres are assembled according to strict safety and quality standards. The role focuses on developing practical production skills while adhering to safety regulations and meeting operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
During the Production Learnership Programme, learners will be responsible for:
- Conducting basic risk assessments on production equipment
- Wearing and maintaining provided personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintaining 3S standards within the work area
- Checking machine controls to ensure proper operation
- Removing empty spools, trolleys, and rolls from machines
- Returning empty materials to the component section
- Moving raw covers into designated storage bays
- Supplying required solutions to machines
- Working effectively as part of a production team
- Meeting production targets within the scope of the learnership programme
