Curro, one of South Africa’s leading independent school networks, has opened applications for its Youth Employment Service (YES) Candidate Learnership Programme. With 28 exciting posts available, this initiative provides unemployed youth with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the education sector while developing valuable skills for future careers.

Available YES Candidate Roles

Curro is recruiting for the following positions:

1. Admin YES Candidates (X10)

Assist with administrative operations and ensure the smooth running of various school functions.

2. Educator Assistant YES Candidates (X10)

Support classroom teaching, help prepare learning materials, and contribute to learner development.

3. Sports Coach YES Candidates (X8)

Promote physical education, assist with school sports programmes, and encourage teamwork and healthy living.

Programme Details

• Duration: 12 months

• Stipend: R5 000 – R5 800 per month
  This monthly stipend allows candidates to gain experience while earning a supportive income.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

Be South African youth aged 18–34

Be currently unemployed

Have relevant qualifications:

• Educator Assistants: Education or related studies
• Admin Candidates: Administration, Office Management, HR, or related fields
• Sports Coaches: Sports Management, Coaching, Physical Education, or related fields
