Department of Education Learnerships Available

The Department of Education for Education is all related to the education system, but also includes various other sectors that are considered scarce skills. Depending on the learnership, some candidates may need to complete more than a formal qualification.

Requirements for Department of Education Learnerships

Basic Requirements

• The applicants must be South African citizens
• You must keep the correct identity document
• Applications must have a Grade 12 certificate
• You may not be employed
• If an active candidate also needs a certificate or degree within their field of study.
• Applications must also provide all their academic documentation and ensure that the information you provide is up to date. It is also recommended to include a detailed resume and referral letters, if available.

Application for Department of Education Learnerships

Each province in South Africa has its own Ministry of Education. Applications by the Department of Education for online learning cannot be obtained, candidates can download the Z83 application form and send it along with all the required documents to the nearest Department of Education.

The Department of Education will read the closing date

The closing dates for these internships vary from year to year, but usually between the year, June, July and July. There may be deadlines for each department, so it is best that the new appointments speak to someone at the Department of Education first before applying.
