SAFCOL Forestry South Africa Learnerships 2022/2023

SAFCOL is offering a Silviculture Learnership Programme and a General Education and Training Certificate (GETC) learnership, to unemployed youth, who are interested in a career in Forestry.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must have completed Matric/ Grade 12
• GETC learnership: must have passed Mathematics, Life Science and Physical Science in Matric
• Must be unemployed
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old
• Must be passionate about forestry and the environment
• Must be able and willing to work outdoors

Please Attach the following documents to your application:

• An application letter stating which position you are applying for and why
• An updated Curriculum Vitae
• A certified copy of your Matric Certificate/ statement of symbol
• A certified copy of your Identity Document

Please note:

• Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged individuals, black females, candidates living with disabilities, and youth members within communities that SAFOL has signed Social Compact
• If you have not heard a response within 30 days of the closing date, consider your application unsuccessful
