Samancor is inviting all suitable unemployed individuals to apply for their 2022/2023 Learnership opportunities

Purpose

Samancor is offering a Basic Metals Production Skills Programme Learnership opportunity to candidates residing in Middelburg. The programme will include practical and theory training, for a period of 6 months. After completing the programme, candidates will be issued a certificate.

The training will be conducted through SETA accredited training provider and candidates will receive an allowance will be payable whilst on the programme.

Minimum Requirements 

• Must have completed Matric / Grade 12 / N3 or an N3 that is equivalent to a Grade 12 / Matric
• Must have passed Mathematics / Physical Science / Engineering Science with a minimum of 60%
• Must reside in Middelburg
• Must have good safety awareness skills
• Must have high work standards
• Advantageous: a valid Driver’s License (minimum B/ Code 8)

• Candidates will be required to engage in a panel interview.
